My latest discovery in the 45rpm department is a blend of surf guitars, Beatles-inspired vocals, a driving beat, and a strangely alluring melancholy mood. Recorded in Minneapolis in 1964 by a short-lived one-hit group, this is bound to get some serious spins on my trusty turntable.
